For thousands of years, the winter solstice has attracted human spirits. This turning point—when shorter, darker days turn toward brighter ones—is an ancient time to reconnect with your higher power and find spiritual light. After this especially dark year, join people of all backgrounds as we celebrate Soulstice.
On the evening of the 21st, turn off the lights, mute the distractions, find a place where you can be alone for a moment and light a candle. Focus on the stillness of this peaceful moment and begin to turn your thoughts toward your Higher Power.
Grab a pen and paper and write a letter to your higher power (God, Allah, the Cosmic Tao, whatever name you use). Write about the darkness of this past year. Write about the light you hope for in the future. Ask for God’s help in embracing the light.
Hi. We’re a non-profit with a mission to help more people find peace and love with their higher power: God, Allah, Brahman, Adonai, Tao, Jesus, whatever name you use. Though our staff is made up of people from different backgrounds and belief systems (some religious, some not-so-much), what we do share is a desire to improve other people’s lives by connecting them with God. If you’re interested in our mission, please drop us a line or follow us on our social channels.
